Course sequence
The MultiLit Positive Teaching and Learning modules align with the Response to Intervention framework, and guides teachers through universal, whole-class positive prevention strategies (Tier 1) through to assessment and intervention strategies required for implementation at the Tier 2 and 3 levels.
Workshops are delivered by self-paced eLearning, with a Community of Practice blended learning option also available in Term 1 2023.
These modules equip educators with evidence-based tools to teach alternative, safer and meaningful behaviours to all students, and implement successful pathways to manage challenging behaviours.
Positive Teaching and Learning is delivered through eLearning modules. Each module provides:
- Downloadable and consumable resources to support behaviour management initiatives
- Video demonstrations of strategies in action
- Practical tools for immediate implementation
- Evidence-based practices that make the science of behaviour and learning accessible
- Opportunities to actively respond and receive feedback
The Foundations of Behaviour and Function-based Thinking module is a required pre-prerequisite to proceed through to Assessment and Measurement of Behaviour, and Motivation and Teaching Strategies modules. The modules are designed to be sequential, and each module must be successful completed before participants can move to the next module in the sequence.
