Preventing and Managing Challenging Behaviours
The fourth workshop in the series will train participants to design and implement effective and targeted proactive strategies to help reduce and prevent the occurrence of challenging behaviour. This workshop will also equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement evidence-based, safe and ethical strategies when responding to challenging behaviour. Participants will be able to apply the assessment and teaching skills they have learned in the previous workshops to develop preventative and management strategies that are matched to the functions of students’ behaviour.
This is another practical course that will guide participants through a wide range of evidence-based strategies that they can apply in their classrooms to both prevent and respond appropriately to challenging behaviour.
